Veronika Valdés (1992) has been actively engaged in dance for more than fifteen years. After graduating from contemporary dance department at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet Ljubljana, department for contemporary dance, she continued her studies at the Secondary Preschool Education and Gimnazija Ljubljana. In 2011, she decided to continue her studies at the Dance Academy Ljubljana. As a young choreographer and dancer, she has completed a series of her own projects. Her first project as a choreographer (together with Enya Belak, Maša Hawlina and Jerca Rožnik Novak) was The Daddy Project (Dance Theatre Ljubljana) in 2012, followed by her solo debut with A Day After the same year. She received numerous awards and prizes for her creative work. As a dancer and performer, she also collaborates in performance by domestic and foreign directors and choreographers. In 2105, she was a member of EnKnapGroup. She is also a dance teacher and music writer.
