Gibanica Festival Opening Event
Lastings – Passings is a gallery staging, composed as a cluster of five compositional proposals that function as a moving audio image. Visitors are guided through the space, entering into modulations, watching and listening, and at the same time co‑shaping them. The focus of the event is on the movement, which is lasting and passing at the same time, as well as on the relations between the parallel spaces: sound space, space of the frame, and imaginary space.
Two out of five compositions of the gallery staging of the Lastings – Passings will be performed as part of the opening event, followed by social gathering and projection of the video sketch, as well as a collage of the moving impressions by contemporary dance artists on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Contemporary Dance Association Slovenia.
